This is a personal website. It collects very little, and what it does collect is described here in plain terms.

What I collect

If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address and whatever message you send. If you sign up for email updates, I collect your email address alone. Netlify, which hosts this site and handles both forms, also logs basic technical information for every visitor — things like IP address and browser type — the way most web hosts do. I don't add any analytics or tracking on top of that.

How I use it

Contact form submissions are used only to reply to you. Email addresses from the newsletter form are used only to send you a message whenever I publish a new essay — nothing else, and no more often than that. I don't sell, rent or share this information with anyone.

Who processes it

Both forms are handled by Netlify's form service, and the site itself is hosted on Netlify's infrastructure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log basic request information (like IP address) as part of serving the font files — this is standard for any site using web fonts and isn't something I control.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time — every email includes a link to do so, or you can just tell me directly. You can also ask me to tell you what I hold about you, or to delete it, at any point. Write to the address below and I'll handle it promptly.
